Webinar: Digitalization of the Spanish Life Sciences and Health Sector – Opportunities for Dutch Businesses

Spain is investing heavily in the digital transformation of its healthcare system, has a large and ageing population, a strong health-tourism segment, and is open to international collaboration. Together, these factors create significant opportunities for Dutch enterprises in this dynamic market.

We are pleased to present a study conducted together with EY, which analyzes business opportunities for companies from the Netherlands in Spain’s Life Sciences & Health sector. The report outlines the current digital healthcare landscape, identifies market opportunities, highlights key trends and future needs, and maps relevant stakeholders and funding sources. It also examines potential barriers within the Spanish digital healthcare system and includes an overview of Spanish companies actively driving digital healthcare innovation.

We are delighted to share the report and its insights during a webinar that will take place from 11:00-12:00 (CET) on 9 December.

Presentation:

  • Opening by Roel Nieuwenkamp – Dutch Ambassador to Spain
  • Presentation Report by Maria Garcia Dachary – Manager Strategy Consultant at EY Spain
  • Scene setter on Doing Business in the Health Sector in Spain by Marja Huiskamp – Managing Director at Madrid Health Hub
  • Way forward and collaboration with the Economic Network Spain by Clara van Willigen – Head of the Economic Affairs at the Dutch Embassy in Madrid
