On Tuesday October 15 at 14:00u, Netherlands Business Support Office Barcelona hosts another La Mesa Naranja at Restaurant Pomarada (Pg. de Gràcia, 78).
The goal of this networking lunch: an informal lunch with content and opportunity for networking. La Mesa Naranja is based on the simple principle that everyone needs to have a lunch in order to continue the day productively, this in combination with an interesting pitch and good company of a diverse group of people makes your lunch more fun, more meaningful, more useful and more educational.
For this edition, we are excited to welcome Frederick Schreurs (NAPROS) and Raffaela Schreurs (NGN), who will share insights into their collaborative demonstration project in Spain, focusing on groundbreaking advancements in alternative proteins.
Napros 1995 is a company founded in 1995 in Spain by Frederick Schreurs and Danielle Wewer. Napros specializes in the development and research of agricultural products and projects, with a strong focus on technology, intellectual property, and value creation developments worldwide.
Thanks to Frederick’s extensive experience in the seed sector, propagation technology, and intellectual property protection, NAPROS plays a significant role in various international agricultural projects.
In addition, in 2020, NAPROS entered into a strategic partnership with New Generation Nutrition B.V. (NGN). NGN is a Dutch company that is a global leader in the insect farming industry and the circular economy. NGN also offers comprehensive training and consultancy services in the field of insect farming and innovative business models, where insects are used as sustainable and nutritious ingredients for animal feed and human consumption.
Raffaela Schreurs works as an independent contractor for Napros and NGN on various projects. Her expertise in sustainable innovations makes her a valuable partner. She has, among other things, initiated an insect demo farm in Spain and participated in several international activities related to insect farming and circular economy projects.
